Spain | In Marchamalo in the Province of Guadalajara, BASF operates four plants that primarily produce coating materials for the automotive industry. Since last year, Messer has been supplying the production site with nitrogen to inertize tanks and pipelines. A mobile tank was first installed to supply
product temporarily thereby, ensuring a smooth transition during the change of suppliers. In September, Messer installed a stationary liquid nitrogen tank with a capacity of 30,000 liters on the grounds of the plant.
