Spain | Last year Messer installed the gas supply system for a new laboratory at AGROLAB in Tarragona, Spain. Known as AGROLAB Medioambiente, the new laboratory provides analytical studies in the environmental protection field. The two highly specialized and accredited laboratories (AGROLAB Iberica and AGROLAB Medioambiente) in Tarragona use high-purity gases such as nitrogen, synthetic air, oxygen, helium and argon, which are also supplied by Messer. The new laboratory analyzes, among other things, samples of drinking water and wastewater, contaminated soils, air quality and exhaust gas emissions. In addition, AGROLAB’s offering also includes the analysis of food and feedstock. The company is part of the AGROLAB GROUP, which operates throughout Europe and employs some 1,900 people in more than 25 subsidiaries.
