Allow me to take this moment as the year comes to a close...

... to take a look back over 2021. What memories linger? Which projects were brought to a successful conclusion? What findings do we take with us into the future? First of all, I would like to mention our ever-growing commitment to healthcare: in Austria’s largest hospital, pipes were frozen with liquid nitrogen in order to enable the installation of new block valves without having to take the system out of service. Szent Ferenc Hospital in Budapest was the first hospital in Hungary to set up a post-Covid center. There we supplied medical gases and technical equipment. But we also focus on environmental protection applications: green hydrogen is playing a key role in the decarbonization of industry and mobility. In both segments, we offer tailor-made solutions for the supply and use of H2. In 2021, practical examples of this included the unveiling of hydrogen-powered buses in Tarragona, Spain, and Waldshut-Tiengen, Germany. Moreover, we are committed to hydrogen initiatives, recently also in the H2BZ Initiative Hessen, to cite just one example. As the year ends, I would like to thank everyone – customers, suppliers and employees – for your trust, your support and your commitment.
