Spain | When superyachts are repaired in Barcelona’s harbor, welding gases from Messer are used. The Marina Barcelona 92 shipyard there has specialized in the repair and maintenance of large private boats. It can service ships of up to 4,800 metric tons and over 150 meters in length. On an area of 76,000 square meters, its facilities handle some 110 orders for the repair and modernization of large yachts each year. Messer supplies argon and nitrogen for that purpose. The name of the company is a reference to its establishment in the year of the Summer Olympics of 1992.
