Methyl chloride recycling processes
Methyl chloride recycling processes
Legal regulations limit the release of the base chemical methyl chloride to the atmosphere during production, transport, storage or use. Two major companies use cryogenic nitrogen to condense and recover methyl chloride vapor. This involves several different processes.

Raising process reliability in laser cutting
Raising process reliability in laser cutting
The trend toward higher laser outputs in laser cutting affects the entire process. It is becoming more efficient overall, but focusing even more energy is also making it more sensitive to particle loading. The higher energy density can potentially cause the particles to be burned onto the surface of the cutting optics. Messer offers several different solutions designed to protect the equipment and maintain its efficiency.

That’s how the green H₂ economy works
That’s how the green H₂ economy works
A consortium of leading companies from the chemical and energy sectors is developing a large electrolysis plant in Tarragona to accelerate the decarbonization of the local chemical industry there. The project will illustrate how green hydrogen can be produced and used cost-effectively for the petrochemical industry on a large scale. Messer is a participant in this project with investments, infrastructure and gases expertise.
