France | Messer is supporting the start-up operations of HYmpulsion, a network of clean hydrogen refueling stations located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. As part of the “Zero Emission Valley” project, HYmpulsion is in charge of designing, sizing, installing and operating hydrogen infrastructures for its successful roll-out. This pioneering project, which is the first of its kind in France, is sponsored by Engie, Michelin, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region as well as the banks Crédit Agricole and Banque des Territoires. It aims at creating a local hydrogen ecosystem for both light and heavy vehicles to accelerate the deployment of clean mobility. As a partner, Messer is contributing its hydrogen expertise and ensuring that the stations are reliably supplied with hydrogen until they can produce the gas themselves on site.
