Czech Republic | The first public hydrogen refueling station in the Czech Republic was inaugurated in Ostrava one year ago. It is operated by Vítkovice, a real-estate developer and utilities service provider. The refueling station comprises a high-pressure tank, a compressor and a dispensing system. The hydrogen is supplied by Messer. The unit is currently designed to refuel up to 10 hydrogen-powered vehicles per day – specifically, Toyota Mirai and Hyundai Nexo models. Thanks to its modular design, it can be easily expanded to meet increasing demand and refuel up to 40 vehicles.
