Spain | Starting from next year, the City of Tarragona wants to convert its fleet of buses to emission-free vehicles. For the test drive with a hydrogen-powered bus, Messer delivered the gas from a fuel pump that has been installed at the company’s site in Vilaseca. Toyota, CaetanoBus and the municipal authorities of Tarragona also helped organize this trial. Passengers on board the trail runs included, among others, a number of media representatives and local politicians along with Messer employees and their families. The event raised public awareness throughout Spain for emission-free solutions in local transportation.
