Laser technology at the STOM-LASER trade fair

Poland | At the STOM-LASER 2022 trade fair, exhibitors presented their laser systems for cutting sheet metal and profiles. Messer installed the gas supply for 70 percent of the systems exhibited. The technically innovative, high-capacity MegaPack bundles used for this purpose attracted strong interest among the visitors.

The trade fair also provided an opportunity to present the SF2G filter system offered by Messer in Poland. Under certain circumstances, solid particles from gas lines can enter the gas stream and impair the function of laser cutters. Developed by Messer specialists, the SF2G filter system protects laser cutting machines from damage due to particle contamination. Measurement technology that detects particles as small as 0.3 micrometers is used to verify filtration efficiency.
